My name is Chris Thomas and I’m a self-employed builder with over 18 years experience in the construction industry. I am a qualified City & Guilds Carpenter & Joiner first and foremost but am also skilled in many other areas of the building trade, please refer to the Services page of my website for details.
I completed my 2 year apprenticeship in 1991 then went on to achieve the City & Guilds Advanced Craft Certificate in Carpentry & Joinery in 1992. I’ve gained a vast amount of experience working on various projects from Harrods & Selfridges shop refits to 5 years spent on the Windsor Castle restoration. The last 10 years have been spent working predominantly in the domestic market, with the last 5 years as a Foreman where I successfully project managed various sites including the managing of labour and calculating and ordering materials.
I pride myself on delivering high quality craftsmanship at competitive prices and always offer a friendly and reliable service ensuring the requirements of the client are met to an exceptionally high standard.
I am based in Reading and undertake work in the Berkshire area and the surrounding counties of Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Surrey, so if you’re someone wanting a skilled tradesman to carry out building work in your home or you’re an established building company looking for a subcontractor I’d be delighted to hear from you.
